Overview:

 

Kerian von Heyden is a musician and music producer based in Leipzig, where he lives with his wife and daughters. Although he has been making music for many years, he only took the leap to release his work in 2024.

 

Kerian’s musical journey has been shaped by a diverse range of influences, from the synthpop of the 80s and iconic bands like Depeche Mode to the powerful sounds of Metallica and the haunting melodies of Dark Wave pioneers such as Deine Lakaien. In recent years, contemporary artists like Alan Walker and Billie Eilish have also left their mark on his style.

 

He enjoys blending genres to create something entirely new. With his debut single Final Horizon, Kerian won the Orpheus Music Award in the category Best Dance Act. For him, the ultimate reward is seeing his music resonate with listeners and bring them joy.

 

His first cover song will be released in January 2025. With the cover of Metallica's mega hit 'Nothing Else Matters' he wants to fuse musical styles and show his admiration for this great band. The incredible singer Jaki Nelson lent her voice to the song and made it perfect.
